This stunning handmade bracelet is crafted from beautiful cowrie shells. Cowrie shells were once used as a currency around the world and do still hold deep significance in some cultures. For instance, in Africa cowrie shells are often associated with fertility because their back resembles the female sexual organ and the front the belly of a pregnant woman. Cowrie shells used to make this bracelet are sourced from the Indian Ocean. Please note that this bracelet does not stretch, so please consider your wrist size before purchasing.
