Batik Print Bone Disk Bead Chocker Necklace
Get this unique and fun handmade necklace from Kenya/ East Africa. The back and white beads are carved out of cow bones. They are then batiked with desired prints. It is a very tedious process to make the batik print. After the beads are carved out of out of cow bone, the print is drawn on it, wax is applied to parts that are not to get the dye. The bead is then dipped in the dye, after its allowed to dry, the wax is removed resulting in a batik print. Since this necklaces are handmade, the one you will get might be slightly different but not by much.
