

This beads are handmade and from Kenya/East Africa! Its a tedious process to make these batik mud cloth print beads. First the beads are hand carved from cow bone to the desired shapes and sizes. Then the print is drawn, wax is applied to the parts that are not to get the dye. Its is then dipped in the dye and after its dried the wax is removed to result in a mud cloth batik print like the one on these beads. You will get about 50 beads. Since they are handmade, each bead is unique as shown in the pictures.
